Exhibited at Janus Kambanshús.
Móttakari translates to receiver. The works respond to Det Amorfe by Inger Christensen and the chapter Problems with Measurement from Meeting the Universe Halfway by Karen Barad. The works explore how spirituality, mental illness and quantum physics begin to overlap in their attempts to define reality and how these different frameworks coincedentally sometimes arrive at similar ways of describing what cannot be fully measured or known.
This solo exhibition also included a book of writings by Anna Malan Jógvansdóttir.
